Hello! I'm Minsu Kang, currently studying Industrial Management Engineering at Sangmyung University, Cheonan Campus.I have a deep interest in marketing and data analysis and am actively preparing for a career in these fields.After participating in various student-led activities, I wanted to gain practical experience through external programs — and that’s when I discovered the Murfy Supporters program.
What motivated you to join the Murfy Supporters program?
At the time, I was working on a personal project related to stock investment and was planning to turn it into a paper. I came across Murfy’s AI-based academic writing platform and saw that they were recruiting supporters.The phrase “those interested in marketing and content creation” really stood out to me, and since it aligned perfectly with my interests, I decided to apply.
What was the most memorable activity during the program?
Two activities stand out the most:
1. The Coffee Chat Program
As someone preparing for job applications, I found this extremely valuable.
Talking directly with someone working in the field helped me evaluate where I stood, identify my gaps, and refocus my preparation. It was a meaningful and clarifying experience.
2. The YouTube Shorts Team Mission
I served as the team leader for a four-person group, and although none of us had prior video editing experience, we were determined to give it a try.
I took on the editing task myself, and while it was challenging, the collaboration, feedback, and eventual completion of the video made it incredibly rewarding.
What did you learn from this experience?
Above all, I appreciated being involved in every step — from planning to execution.
Whether it was content production, incorporating feedback, communicating with professionals, or participating in marketing campaigns, each step provided invaluable hands-on learning.
I also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of collaboration and proactive engagement.

Is there anything you’d like to see from Murfy in the future?
The platform is already highly useful, but I think showcasing more use cases and creating communication channels between users would lower the barrier to entry even more.
Murfy’s unique strength lies in actively involving users in improving the service — initiatives like this Supporters program are a great example of that.
Final thoughts
Being part of the Murfy Supporters wasn’t just about promoting a product — it was a collaborative experience that allowed me to engage with the tool, provide feedback, and grow alongside it.
I would highly recommend this program to any student who’s looking to gain practical experience in content creation, marketing, or academic tools.
